The Room Leader is a qualified childcare professional, who maintains responsibility for the day-to-day running of a room. This includes supervising staff and cultivating a high quality learning environment.
Centre Director - Ms. Katrina
"Education is not preparation for life. Education is life itself"
Ms Katrina is our centre director here at Rouse Hill Preschool Kindergarten. She has held this position for 12 years. Katrina holds a Diploma in Early Childhood, and has over 30 years experience in the industry. Throughout her career, Katrina has developed and extended on her skill set by completing several short courses in childhood development. This includes learning to care for children with special needs, allergy awareness, nutrition, physical wellbeing and importance of literature in early childhood.
A big personal achievement was her recent nomination in the Hills Shire International Women's Awards, where she was recognised for her involvement and passion for Early Childhood, in the Hills District area. Katrina is also a devoted mother and grandmother, and has dedicated her career to providing a loving, caring and educational environment for all children in her care.
Educational Leader / 2IC: Ms. Heidi
Bachelor of Teaching in Early Childhood. 21 years of experience and mother to 3 teenagers. Heidi is our educational leader for the centre and oversees all programs with a special interest in School Readiness.
Heidi loves literacy and learning and encourages all children to form a sense of belonging while at our centre. Creating a” Home away from Home.”
Yellow Room Leader (0-2 years): Ms Michelle

With a Diploma in Children's Services, Michelle brings 23 years of experience to her role as Room Leader of the Yellow Room (0-2 years). Ms Michelle is also a mum to two boys of her own.
Green Room Leader (2-3 years): Ms. Daina
Staff member since 2016
7 years experience of working with children and holds a Diploma in Children’s Services.
Red Room Leader: Ms. Tyrelle (Room 1) & Ms. Raina (Room 2)
